François Beaufort (he is AWESOME, follow him on Buzz) found a strip of very interesting sprites on the gStatic server (which is mainly responsible for dishing out the icons etc. to Google Services).
What you can see here are maybe CrossProcess, Orton, enhance, Black&White, Autocolor, Autolight :)

Like Shawn Drape correctly noted and like I noted too: Yep, picnik technology is being merged into Google Services (check my older posts for details).
