don't use the misreported mcdonald's coffee case as an example of frivolous lawsuits, it trivializes the seriousness of the case

that's tragic but seriously? That is NOT secure what she did.

It is like suing a car company for having an accident with a car.

Yeah, she had bad luck, but she was the one who caused the accident, not any employee of McDonald's.
It is like drying a hamster in a microwave.

And here, we don't get pain relief in the same amount as in the US. It is a maximum of 1000-10.000 Euros (for really severe cases of injury)

(and McDonald's USA also acted totally stupid and childish, just to mention. Their argumentation was totally inhuman)
